Job Description
Our client is a manufacturer of custom sheet metal products, and they are looking to currently hire for two. Industrial Powder Coat Painter.
Location: Richmond Hill, ON L4C 3G7
Shift: Full Time Dayshift Monday to Thursday 6AM TO 3PM and Fridays 6am to 12pm
Pay Rate: $23.00-$28.00 per hour.
Work Location: In person.
Permanent (After 3 months of probation)
Duties:
- Perform powder coating operations on various metal parts and components.
- Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Set up and operate powder coating equipment, including guns, booths, and ovens.
- Monitor and adjust powder coating process parameters to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished products for defects and make any necessary touch-ups or rework.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with welding or metal fabrication is a plus.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Industrial painting: 1 year (preferred)
