Job Description
Our client is a Tier 1 Manufacturer for the Automotive Industry. They are looking for a Machine Builder/ Mechanical Assembly Technician to join their team.
They are located in Markham. Pay Rate $26 - $40/hour depending on experience. This is a permanent role, fully on site.

Description:
- Follow mechanical and pneumatics drawings, assembly drawings and detail component drawings.
- Assembly of machine components, machine parts (milling and turning) as required for assembly of custom engineered automated machinery.
- Perform functionality testing of purchased & machined parts.
- Perform installation, along with training the customer on change over and set-up procedures.
- Perform service and installation on site.
- Mechanical systems testing and debug, systems commissioning, installation and troubleshooting of machines on-site.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Has worked in a machine/tool building shop.
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Able to work with pneumatic machines and tools.
- 5 years in a machining building environment
- MIG Welding is an asset.
- Forklift operation is an asset.
- G License in good standing, able to travel the GTA.
- Able to work overtime with advance notice.
