Machine Shop Coordinator
Job Description
Our client located in Ajax, Ontario is seeking a Machine Shop Coordinator, will report to Machine Shop Operations Team Leader, the successful individual, working with the Machine Shop team will be responsible for the overall coordination of activities within the Machine Shop for quality driven activities and data analysis. This includes cross functional collaboration with multiple departments to drive production requirements.
CGD certificate required
This will be a day shift position (100% onsite)
Job Title- Machine Shop Operator
Pay rate will be $25-27/hr.
Starting from Feb 03, 2025 (12 months contract)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build reports on production quality for detailed analysis to drive improvement
- Collaborate cross functionally to drive priority management for production
- Assist the planning team, the flow of work throughout the Machine Shop
- Provide back up support to Machine Shop Operations Team Leader
- Manage the RWK/NCR process flow through the Machine shop
- Create, maintain, and publish daily/weekly status reports/ KPI as required.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement projects relating to Machine Shop
- Focal for Machine Shop out of flow.
Requirements
- Education: College Diploma /University Degree
- Proficient computer skills
- Experience in administrative functions,
- Results oriented,
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Microsoft Office software – advanced Excel Skills; Power BI would be an asset
